Speakers Announced: National K-12 Cybersecurity Leadership Conference

Hosted by the K12 Security Information eXchange (K12 SIX), the 2023 National K-12 Cybersecurity Leadership Conference is an in-person only event designed to identify and share solutions and best practices to better defend the K-12 sector from emerging cybersecurity threats, such as ransomware and data breaches. The inaugural conference will be held February 22-23, 2023 in Austin, Texas.

In response, K-12 school systems should implement the K12 SIX ‘Essential Cybersecurity Protections,’ designed specifically to defend school districts against the most common cyber threats they face.

K12 SIX to Host Cyber Incident Response Planning Workshop for Vermont School Districts

The State of Vermont Agency of Education—as part of their continuing effort to assist districts across the state with cybersecurity planning—is encouraging Vermont district administrators to participate in an all-day cybersecurity training hosted by K12 SIX in conjunction with Vita Learn’s Vermont Fest Conference (November 17-18, 2022).
