Established in 2020 by the Global Resilience Federation, the member-driven non-profit K12 SIX shares timely and actionable cybersecurity threat intelligence tailored to the needs of the K-12 education community, fosters community and collaboration, and develops K-12 specific guidance and best practice resources. The K12 SIX Steering Committee is responsible for guiding K12 SIX strategy and operations, ensuring organizational alignment to our vision, mission, and values.

Steering Committee members assumed their three-year terms beginning on July 1, 2026. Inaugural officers were elected to two-year terms during the Steering Committee’s 2026 organizational meeting.
